Welcome to the Briggs School Athletic Program. We hope your decision to take advantage of our extra-curricular program will be educational, rewarding, and challenging. Briggs School encourages you to take advantage of as many programs as your time and talent will permit.
PHILOSOPHY
We believe that interscholastic activities are an important supplement to the instructional program, and as such become a vital part of a student's total educational experience.
Student participation in our activities is a privilege which carries with it responsibilities to the school, to the activity, to the student body, to the community, and to the student himself/herself. This participation will help to develop the student physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally.
GOALS
Student activities and athletics are an integral part of the educational program. Our activities allow for experiences not otherwise provided. Extra-curricular activities help students to acquire additional knowledge, skills, and social development necessary for life.
