We had 36 kids in Chess Club for our first meeting, Nov. 22! Looking forward to teaching the kids openings, strategies and defenses. We have a great group of students at Briggs!

We hope our students and families enjoyed the break with their loved ones. We will see everyone back at school on Monday, December 2nd!

Reminder that Chess Club will be in Ms. Sisco’s room starting at 4:00 p.m. today. Coach Williams has been a Chess Club sponsor at five different schools. He has 30 different sets and has been a sponsor for approximately 20 years now. Chess encourages & improves critical thinking, strategizing, confidence, creativity, boosts IQ, concentration and sportsmanship.
The 3 year old program will not be in session on Friday, November 22nd.
Extended Care will be available Monday, Nov. 25th and Tuesday, Nov. 26th for our working parents from 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Parents must drop off and pick up their child. A bus route will not be available.

Fluoride Treatments will be Tuesday, November 19th. Students that have a signed consent form will receive the fluoride treatment. Parents, if you have not filled out a consent form for your child and would like for them to receive the fluoride treatment, please print and complete the attached form and return it to school. Forms are also available in the front office.
