Testing will resume on Monday, April 28th. Our testing schedule is as follows: Monday: 5th and 8th Writing test Tuesday: 5th and 8th Science test Wednesday: 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Math test

On Tuesday (April 22) Mrs. Davenport's 7th grade class researched Earth Day topics and made awesome posters to promote awareness of the importance of protecting the earth and our environment.

Mark your calendars! Our end of year awards assembly is scheduled for May 15th. 8:30 a.m. Pre-K, 1st and 2nd grade 9:30 a.m. 3rd & 4th grade 10:30 a.m. 5th -7th grade *8th grade awards ceremony will be on May 8th at 6:00 p.m.

Order your yearbook today, supplies are limited! Order forms have been sent home with your child. More copies are available in the front office. Yearbooks are $20.00 and will be delivered the week of May 6th.

Baseball news: The baseball game scheduled for today at Keys has been CANCELLED. There will NOT be a make up game.

5th - 8th Graders will start ELA, Section 1 tomorrow (4/21). It is very important they get a good night's rest. Please make sure they arrive school no later than 7:50 a.m. Good luck students! We BELIEVE in you!

Baseball news: Monday, April 21st @ Keys beginning at 4:00..... two 5 inning games.

The Briggs boys won the ORES regional track meet yesterday at Tahlequah High School. Layne Morgan won gold in high jump and long jump. He also won 2 silver medals in the 4 x 100 m and the 4 x 200 m relays. Jevan Dick won 4 silver medals in the high jump, long jump, 4 x 100m relay. and the 4 x 200 m relay. Jovanni Falcon won gold in the 800 m run and the mile run. Reese Carpenter won silver in the 400m dash and in all three relays. HighEagle Pratt wo gold in discus. Jaxson Osburn won bronze in the 800 m run and in the mile run. Chase Rose won gold in shotput and silver in discus. Aiden Walker won silver in the 200 m dash and won 3 more silvers as a member of all three relay teams. Lucas Soap was 6th in the boys 100 m hurdles gaining a point for the team. Brenden Holden was 5th in the shotput gaining two points for the team. Ozziel De la Hoya won silver as a member of the mile relay. Wyatt Fritz was 5th in the 300 m hurdles gaining 2 points for the team. Gavyn Walker was 4th in the 100m and 200m dashes. Briggs scored 179 points Out scoring Lonestar with 140 Twin Hills 87 Woodall. 79 Justus Tiawah 32 Great job track!!!

Track news: Regional track results The girls placed third as a team yesterday at Tahlequah in the ORES regional track meet. Lilly Garcia won gold in the 100 m and 200 m dashes. She also won silver in the 4 x 100 m relay and bronze in the 4 x 200 relay. Natalie VanBuskirk won gold in shotput. Pamela Eusebio won gold in long jump, finished 4th in the 200 m dash and also 4 x 400 m relay to qualify for State. Kaydence Johnston won bronze in long jump and the 100 m hurdles, finished 4th in 4 x 400 m relay, and 5th in the 300 m hurdles. Mia Stopp won bronze in shotput and 4th in the discus. Londynn Bell won silver in the 4 x 100 m relay and bronze in the 4 x 200 m relay. Kallie Stopp won silver in the 4 x 100 m relay and bronze in the 4 x 200 relay. Holly Vick won silver in the 4x100 m relay and the 4 x 200 m relay and she finished 6th in the 400 m dash earning a point for the team. Bella Bread won bronze in discus. Sydnee Crawford & Brenlei Smith qualified for state by finishing 4th in the 4 x 400 m relay. Roselyn Falcon placed 6th in the mile and earned a point for her team. Kira McGuire placed 6th in high jump to also earn a point. Bentley Smith placed 5th in the 800 m run to gain two team points.
