Briggs School -

Tahlequah High School Pre-Enrollment Night will be on Tuesday, February 17th from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. 8th Grade students received a packet today. Please ask your 8th grader about this packet.

On Pre-Enrollment Night, only parents/guardians with legal custody may enroll a student. Parents/Guardians must bring a photo ID for enrollment.
Items Required for enrollment:
State Certified Birth Certificate (Required)
Immunization Records (Required)
CDIB Card (If applicable)
Address Verification (Required) This must be in the parent or guardian's name. Items that may be used are current utility bill, current lease agreement, valid driver's license or CDIB photo ID.

No soccer practice today after school. Instead, there will be volleyball practice.

Dental Health Day for Kindergarten-2nd grade on Friday, February 13th.

Valentine's Day parties will be Friday, Feb. 13th beginning at 1:45 p.m.

Spring pictures will be Tuesday, Feb. 17th. We will also be taking group & team pictures that day.

No school Monday, Feb. 16th due to staff development.

Basketball News:
Our Briggs Braves are the ORES Division 1 East Area Runner-up Champions and are headed to STATE!!! They will play South Rock Creek in the first round of the state tournament on Thursday, Feb. 12th at 12:00 p.m. The game will be played at North Rock Creek in Shawnee. Congratulations boys and Good Luck!

The next robotics competition will be on Thursday, Feb. 12th at the Tahlequah Middle School and Saturday, Feb. 14th at Cherokee Elementary.

7th/8th: ORES area basketball tournament tomorrow, Feb. 7th at Maryetta. Our boys will be playing in the ORES East Area Runner Up Finals. Briggs will be playing Brushy at 1:00 p.m. A win will send our boys to the state tournament. We need a big and loud crowd at the game tomorrow to help cheer for our Braves!!! Good luck boys!!!
