Thursday, May 9, 2024. It is Teacher Appreciation Week! Please try to remember to tell a teacher thank you for all they do! Students, if you plan on attending summer school, we need your forms ASAP! If you need another form, please see Ms. Michelle. Yearbooks are now on sale for $20 each or 2 for $35. Money goes to Mrs. Hahn. Make sure you turn in the order form with your money. Order forms are available in the office. 8th Grade awards ceremony today at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria. 1st, 2nd, 5th, & 6th Grade field trips tomorrow. Hat day tomorrow.

Last week they competed as two of 800 teams from around the world. The SkittleBusters team placed number 67 out of 84, and the PickleBotz placed number 45 out of 83! This was Briggs' first time attending such a big competition, competing against people from countries ALL OVER THE GLOBE, and they did AMAZING. Great job kids, and thanks to Mrs. Davenport for being their amazing leader and helping throughout the year! Students, if you plan on attending summer school, we need your forms ASAP! Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Our Robotics teams leave TODAY to compete at Worlds in Dallas! Wish them all good luck! Bring home some hardware guys! Kindergarten through 2nd grade track meet today at Woodall. 3rd and 4th grade track meet tomorrow. Student of the Month assembly Thursday, May 2nd. 8th grade field trip Friday, May 3rd. Pre-K and Kindergarten fun day Friday, May 3rd.

Tuesday, April 16, 2024 8th graders remember to get your slides turned in to Ms. Galvin by April 25th to be included in the graduation slideshow. State testing starts TODAY for our 3rd graders. If you see them, tell them good luck and ROCK THAT TEST! Testing will be in the Elementary school today through Thursday. Please be quiet as you walk down the hall and when going to the restroom. 4th through 8th grade will be testing next week. Baseball games today at Keys starting at 4:00. ORES State Track meet is this Friday, April 19 at North Rock Creek. The bus will be leaving at 6:00 AM.

Monday, April 8, 2024 Check out a few pictures of Briggs School 3rd- 8th graders viewing the solar eclipse. Check out our 8th grade students tonight on Fox News at 6:00 p.m. They were caught viewing the eclipse in Heavener. What a great day!! Thank you to all who attended and/or helped with the Indian taco dinner and corn hole tournament this past weekend. The robotics teams were able to raise over $1000 to help with their trip to Worlds! Jace Fuentes & Kannon Trammel won the corn hole tournament! Congratulations to all those who participated in the track meet last week in Maryetta! It was a great day for Briggs! 5th-8th grade track tomorrow, April 9th, at Stilwell starting at 9:00. Buses will load and leave by 8:00. Regional track meet this Thursday, April 11. Bus will load and leave at 8:00. Good luck to all those participating! Baseball tomorrow, April 9th, at Maryetta starting at 4:00.
