Football equipment checkout is scheduled for July 29-30 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the lower gym.
The first practice is scheduled for July 31st, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, for 7th and 8th grade students only.
The 5th and 6th-grade football teams will start practice on the first day of school.

Reminder: Summer school students that were in attendance Monday and Tuesday will leave tomorrow (6/18) at 8:15 a.m. for their field trip to Amazeum in Bentonville, Arkansas. Students must be at school by 8:00 a.m. Please visit the link for more details: https://www.briggs.k12.ok.us/article/2271985

Scheduled Field Trips Week of June 16-20 Wednesday June 18, 2025 (Must be present Monday and Tuesday to attend) Place: Amazeum - Bentonville, Arkansas Depart time: 8:15 Return: 4:00 *Lunch will be provided/Students will eat at a park. **There is a gift shop (optional) If you are wanting to attend as a parent the admission is $8.00 Friday June 20, 2025 (Must be present Thursday to attend) Hulbert Splash Pad Depart time: 9:00 Return: 4:00 *Make sure and bring a towel, sunscreen, and a bathing suit. **Lunch will be provided at the park. Reminder: Open gym will be available on June 5th and June 6th from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. This will be for our 2025 -2026, 7th and 8th grade Briggs Basketball players.

Members of our Cheer Squad were able to participate in a stunt camp on Tuesday, June 3rd. These students learned basic tumbling skills as well as building pyramids. They had a blast! We appreciate Russ Turner and State Athletics for this awesome opportunity!!!

We have partnered with Cherokee Capital Blue Star Mothers to help provide items for troop boxes to be sent to deployed military. Our students have been participating by writing letters and coloring patriotic art work. We would like to add to our participation by donating gum, suckers and/or hard candy. If you would like to help with these items for the troop boxes, please bring them by the front office.
