Monday, April 21st @ Keys beginning at 4:00..... two 5 inning games.
The Briggs boys won the ORES regional track meet yesterday at Tahlequah High School.
Layne Morgan won gold in high jump and long jump. He also won 2 silver medals in the 4 x 100 m and the 4 x 200 m relays.
Jevan Dick won 4 silver medals in the high jump, long jump, 4 x 100m relay. and the 4 x 200 m relay.
Jovanni Falcon won gold in the 800 m run and the mile run.
Reese Carpenter won silver in the 400m dash and in all three relays.

Jaxson Osburn won bronze in the 800 m run and in the mile run.
Chase Rose won gold in shotput and silver in discus.
Aiden Walker won silver in the 200 m dash and won 3 more silvers as a member of all three relay teams.

Brenden Holden was 5th in the shotput gaining two points for the team.
Ozziel De la Hoya won silver as a member of the mile relay.

Regional track results
The girls placed third as a team yesterday at Tahlequah in the ORES regional track meet.
Lilly Garcia won gold in the 100 m and 200 m dashes. She also won silver in the 4 x 100 m relay and bronze in the 4 x 200 relay.
Natalie VanBuskirk won gold in shotput.
Pamela Eusebio won gold in long jump, finished 4th in the 200 m dash and also 4 x 400 m relay to qualify for State.
Kaydence Johnston won bronze in long jump and the 100 m hurdles, finished 4th in 4 x 400 m relay, and 5th in the 300 m hurdles.
Mia Stopp won bronze in shotput and 4th in the discus.
Londynn Bell won silver in the 4 x 100 m relay and bronze in the 4 x 200 m relay.
Kallie Stopp won silver in the 4 x 100 m relay and bronze in the 4 x 200 relay.
Holly Vick won silver in the 4x100 m relay and the 4 x 200 m relay and she finished 6th in the 400 m dash earning a point for the team.

It's that time of year again... state testing! 3rd through 8th grade students, it's your time to SHINE!!!
Our teachers are ready, our students are ready. Let's do this!
State testing begins on TUESDAY, APRIL 15th. Our 3rd and 4th graders will test in the mornings of the 15th - 17th. Grades 5th - 8th will begin on the 21st. Testing can be stressful so to help them do their best, please make sure your child gets a good night's sleep every night. This means at least 9 -10 hours per night with NO electronics at least 2 hours before bedtime. Students need to be ON TIME or EARLY to school on test days. Being late to school creates additional stress and may mean they will have to do make-up testing.
We want to make sure their test days are stress free - so help your child by making sure they have good sleep, arrive early, eat breakfast (at home or at school) and have your support at home. Adilynn Eubanks: 18th in math
Jaxson Osburn: 28th in science
Bentley Smith: 26th in humanities and 11th in math (she missed the top 10 by 1 point)
Anya Parson: 31st in social studies, 20th in math, humanities, and & language arts, and 30th top scholar (was tested in 6 areas)
This competition featured the best students from across the state of Oklahoma from large, small, and private schools. Everyone at Briggs School is so very proud of you! Great job!!!
