Please view the link below for information from Briggs School Superintendent, Stephen R. Haynes, addressing recent concerns about immigration. It is important to understand that, by law, a child's immigration status (or that of their parents) does not affect their right to receive a public education.
As always, we are focused on providing a safe and welcoming learning environment where every student can thrive. We are here to assist students and families in any way we can, and we encourage you to reach out to the school at any time.

4-H students participated in a Food Showdown on Tuesday, January 28.
Briggs had two teams in the junior division and there were 4 junior teams in the competition.
Team Indians (John Hiatt and Blakley Hiatt) placed first with their dish. They each received a nice bowl set! Team Blueberries (Sadie Murphy, Cynch Murphy and Blaklee Jones) placed Second and each received a spatula set!
Teams were given 4 ingredients to use in their dishes. They did not know what the ingredients were going to be before the competition. They had access to common pantry items of spices and sauces. Way to go Briggs 4-H members!!!

January is School Board Appreciation Month ! Our amazing Board of Education goes above and beyond the call of duty. They serve our students, staff and community with their time, talents and wisdom. We are honored to have a fine group helping make Briggs a special place. They are very supportive of our academics and extra-curricular activities. If you see them, make sure you thank them for their service.

Briggs Robotics would like to spotlight our Program Supporters!
YOUR IMPACT
Your support has allowed us to:
*attend 2 tournaments
*pay entry fees
*purchase team shirts
*provide meals
We were also able to host our first Robotics tournament at Briggs!
TOGETHER WE RISE
Briggs Robotics has 5 teams registered to compete this season. Our program size has almost tripled from our first year. We currently have 25 students on our roster. This would not be possible without support from our community.
FUTURE GOALS
We currently have 1 Team State qualified. We hope to earn more qualifying awards while attending 2 more regular season tournaments and work toward a Worlds Championship qualifier in 2 others. We are also looking forward to hosting another tournament here at Briggs next year.
